EXHIBITION: "Rhetoric of Immediacy"

Rhetoric of Immediacy is a group show featuring 12 artists from Studio Mossutställningar with a variety of practices, ranging from painting, photography, video, installation, sculpture to arts and crafts. The title is a reference to the process of finding a common discourse in seemingly disparate expressions, that all have the same physical starting point, Studio Mossutställningar. Rhetoric of Immediacy attempts to show variety by highlighting common grounds, differences, and intersections at Studio Mossutställningar. It deals with closeness and distance in a literal as well as a æstetic way. It sets the pieces on display in a context that creates a temporary space for exchanging ideas and experiences and serves as a safe space for different kinds of artistic expression from a range of cultural backgrounds.
